Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on experience) plus benefits
Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Overtime required during harvest)

Agwrx Cooperative Elevator is a forward-thinking agricultural cooperative committed to providing quality service in the grain and agronomy industries. We are currently seeking a proactive and dedicated individual to join our team as a Grain Elevator Operator. This full-time position plays a crucial role in supporting day-to-day operations across our grain and agronomy facilities, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently load and unload semi-trucks with grain and agronomy products (fertilizer, chemicals, etc.).
• Grade grain samples and handle grain processing, including drying, segregating, filling/reclaiming ground piles, transferring, and blending.
• Conduct routine maintenance and ensure the functionality of all equipment
• Collaborate with the agronomy team to handle the loading and unloading of fertilizer
• Maintain strict adherence to company safety policies, industry guidelines, and governmental regulations.
• Thrive in a fast-paced work environment, particularly during the harvest season.
• Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, promoting a positive team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Capable of climbing ladders and working in various outdoor conditions.
• Working in a dusty environment
• Comfortable working in dusty environments and handling grain manually.

 
Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED), or one year of related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver's license (required).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a focus on safety and quality.
