We are currently seeking a creative and collaborative Marketing Specialist to help us tell our story, build our brand, and support our mission across every department.
The Marketing Specialist will support the planning, creation, and execution of marketing strategies to promote Agwrx Cooperative’s services and community presence. This role is especially focused on digital and social media marketing, while also supporting internal teams and company-wide communication efforts.
- Manage and grow Agwrx Cooperative’s presence on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
- Create engaging digital content including posts, stories, graphics, and videos tailored to our ag audience
- Work with departments across the cooperative—including Agronomy, Energy, Feed, Grain, Sales, and HR—to support their marketing and communication needs
- Coordinate and promote events like customer appreciation days, field demos, trade shows, and employee engagement activities
- Design and develop marketing materials including flyers, newsletters, press releases, email campaigns, and website updates
- Support recruitment and internal communication efforts through employee spotlights, HR campaigns, and culture content
- Track and report on campaign performance and digital analytics to inform future strategies
- Maintain brand consistency and uphold the cooperative’s values in all marketing efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Agribusiness, or a related field
- 2+ years of marketing experience; agriculture or cooperative experience preferred
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
- Ability to work well independently and with diverse teams
- Familiar with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Publisher
- Willing to travel occasionally to local branches or customer sites
- Passion for agriculture and commitment to serving local communities
- Graphic design or video editing skills
- Knowledge of rural/ag media and advertising channels
- Basic photography or content capturing skills
