Agwrx Cooperative Invests in the Next Generation of Agricultural Leaders During National FFA Week
Feb 26, 2026
During National FFA Week, February 21 to 28, the cooperative honored eight local FFA chapters with a $500 donation to each chapter in support of their programs, leadership development activities, and agricultural education initiatives.
In total, $4,000 was contributed to area chapters as part of Agwrx Cooperative’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities it serves. The 2026 donation recipients include Sioux Valley FFA, Deubrook FFA, Watertown Area NETHS FFA, Henry FFA, Willow Lake FFA, Clark FFA, Webster FFA, and Florence FFA.
“I, along with several Agwrx employees, had the opportunity to be involved in FFA growing up, and it had a lasting impact on our lives,” said Kent Borstad, Chief Executive Officer of Agwrx Cooperative. “FFA develops leadership, discipline, and a strong foundation in agriculture that serves students well beyond high school. It is an exceptional organization, and we are proud to invest in the next generation of agricultural leaders.”
National FFA Week celebrates the impact of agricultural education and FFA on students across the country. FFA chapters help students develop leadership, personal growth, and career success skills through hands-on agricultural experiences, community involvement, and competitive events.
Agwrx Cooperative remains committed to supporting youth programs, strengthening rural communities, and ensuring a strong future for agriculture across Northeastern South Dakota.
