Agwrx Cooperative Invests $5,000 in Florence Community Center Improvements

Every small town needs a place to gather. For members of the Florence community, that space is the Florence Community Center. When Agwrx Cooperative learned the center needed funding for improvements, the cooperative saw an opportunity to help.

Through a partnership with the Land O’Lakes Foundation, Agwrx provided a $5,000 contribution to the town of Florence to help fund improvements to the community center, including painting and other updates to maintain the space for years to come.

“Strong communities need a place to come together, and supporting that is part of who we are at Agwrx,” said Rob Goens, Agwrx COO. “People have put a lot of time and energy into the Florence Community Center. We’re proud to partner with Land O’Lakes on this $5,000 contribution to help turn their work into lasting improvements.”

Community centers like this are important gathering places. They give neighbors a place to support one another, families a place to celebrate special occasions, and community members a space to come together for local events and youth activities. Supporting these spaces is one way Agwrx invests in the people and places that make our communities across South Dakota special.
