Agwrx Cooperative Donates $10,000 to Local 4-H Youth Programs

Aug 10, 2026

At Agwrx, we know some of the best memories of growing up in rural communities are made at the county fair each summer. For many of us, 4-H is where lifelong friendships are formed, confidence is built, and traditions are passed from one generation to the next.

That’s why Agwrx is proud to give back and help ensure local 4-H programs have the support they need to continue creating meaningful experiences for young people and their families.

This year, Agwrx invested $10,000 in five local county 4-H programs across the communities it serves. Agwrx is honored to support the families, volunteers and local 4-H organizations that make these programs an important part of our communities.

“4-H helps shape the kind of young people and future leaders our rural communities depend on,” said Kent Borstad, Agwrx CEO. “It teaches responsibility, builds confidence and brings families and neighbors together. We are proud to invest in these programs and support the volunteers who make these opportunities possible.”

Each of the five county 4-H programs received a $2,000 donation from Agwrx, made possible in part through matching funds from several Agwrx partners, including CHS and Land O’Lakes.

The five county 4-H programs receiving donations were presented at their Achievement Days events and included:
  • Codington County 4-H
  • Clark County 4-H
  • Hamlin County 4-H
  • Brookings County 4-H
  • Day County 4-H
