Full Job Description
Agwrx Cooperative is seeking a self-motivated individual for a full time Operations position. This position will focus on assisting with all grain elevator operations. This person will be responsible for day to day operations in the grain department. This position will be based out of Watertown, SD.
Sign on Bonus of $1,000.00!
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $17.00 - $23.00 /hour DOE, plus benefits
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm (overtime will be required)
Location: Watertown, SD
Responsibilities and Duties
· Efficiently load and unload semi-trucks
· Grading grain samples
· Grain handling including drying, segregating, filling/reclaiming of ground piles, transferring and blending grain.
· Equipment maintenance
· Perform duties safely within company policies, guidelines and in accordance with governmental regulations.
· Ability to work in a high paced work environment during harvest.
· Candidate must be willing to engage with customers and be able to work well in a team environment.
· Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
· Lifting 50lbs - 75lbs
· Able to climb ladders
· Shovel grain
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
